Powders aren't visible (Paper 1.17.1)

the plugin works except one crucial feature: the powders I play don't seem to appear above my head (and anywhere in general)!

I don't think I've tested the plugin in 1.17 so I'm surprised it gets that far. If I get some spare time over the next month I might look at updating the plugin to 1.17/18, but this plugin is mostly retired at this point unfortunately.
