I am experiencing an issue with my PS4 controller after attempting to calibrate it using DS4-Tool.py. The left analog stick now moves continuously to the left and right without stopping, even after I removed the sensor from the analog stick itself. This suggests that the problem might be related to calibration settings rather than a hardware issue.
I have already tried resetting the controller and reinstalling DS4-Tool.py, but the problem persists. Could you please guide me on how to completely reset the calibration settings or fix this issue?

A missing (or severely damaged) potentiometer will always cause erratic readings. Replace any missing/damaged/failed pots, then re-calibrate and re-test.
Perhaps this should be added to the FAQ, you're not the only person to see erratic readings when no pot is installed and get confused.
