Alfred now installs snap packages by default, which might not be what user expects or wants. It would be better to make this clear and let user decide, like this:
There are multiple ways to install selected package(s), which would you prefer?
[ ] Prefer deb package
[ ] Prefer snap package
[*] I don't know / care (use default: x)
[*] Apply globally

I have to think more about it. Mainly Alfred is focused on Linux newbies and lazy users which mostly don't care. Implementing that flexibility could clutter Alfred's easiness.
For more advanced users, you could also want to install a different packaging for every software, but asking for every one of them in this case seems too slow. Maybe using radio buttons next to every package in the selection screen, but I don't think that can be achieved with Zenity.
It's not that snap is the default: I selected the most updated packaging (or the recommended by the developers), and, when there is no difference between snap, deb, ppa or package from repos, I select the easiest to install.
