Position Update

Hallo Zusammen,
Ich benutze eueren Plugin um via HTML-Links eine Siemens Logo anzusteuern um dann Rollos in einem Haus zu bewegen.
Vielen dank schon mal für das Plugin.
Leider habe ich ein Problem mit der Aktuellen Position. Der rest (Hoch / Runter / Stopp funktioniert)
Ich habe folgendes in der Konfi stehen:

        "stop_url": "http://192.000.0.000:xxxx/rest/devices/789/methods/3",

        "position_url": "http://192.000.0.000:xxxx/rest/devices/789/attributes/2/valueText",

        "http_options": {

            "method": "GET"

        },

Wenn ich die Position_url selber aufrufe erscheinen je die werte aus der Logo z.B. "50" oder "89".
Ist es falsch das die Zahl in "" steht?
Oder woran könnte es liegen das nie die echte aktuelle Position in die Homebrige eingelesen wird?

I use your plugin to control a Siemens logo via HTML links and then move blinds in my house.
Unfortunately I have a problem with the current position. The rest (up / down / stop ) works fine.
I have the following in the confi:

If I call the Position_url myself, the values ​​from the logo appear e.g. "50" or "89".

Or why could it be that the real current position is never read into the homebrige?

From my testing, the problem is as you stated here:

However, I think jsonata can help here, even though your response isn't JSON. You can review the section on position_jsonata in the docs, for more details on parsing your position_url results.

I experimented a bit with your case, can you try adding this to your config and see if it solves the issue?

"position_jsonata": "$number($)",

"position_jsonata": "$replace($, '\"', '')",

Hey Daniel,

sorry for my late answer.
I tried it with the “number” but I did not work. But you helped me that you told me that I am right with the “”. I found out that I can changed the URL I little bit I get a different answer.
Now the URL is:
"position_url": http://192.000.0.000:xxxx/rest/devices/789/attributes/2/value",

On this URL I get just the Number. (I am using LogoControl form a German website)

Now i have another question.
When i move the Blinds without Homebrige (Hardware Switches) the current Position is changed.
Then I have the Problem that in the Homebrige App the Target position and the Current position are not the same any more.
I think that Homebrige is taking the Current position to the Target position after a while.
Is that correct? And how long dose Homebrige need to update the Target position?

Tomorrow I will test the Old URL and your other Version just for a test.

Yes, I'll be curious if it works with the other version I provided. Glad you solved it for the time being, but would still be useful for troubleshooting.

I think that Homebrige is taking the Current position to the Target position after a while.

As you've noted, this is controlled by HomeKit/Homebridge and it polls position_url at some frequency. I'm not sure exactly when this is, but it also will have something to do with how often you 'refresh' it by going into the page with that icon. I've added to the issues (#55) a new feature request which could support a periodic polling for more frequent updating in these cases.
