download plugin - 'download_denied' pref

is this ok? What do you think it should do?

This preference is bbarea field: - to insert denial text if visitor doesn't have access

@Jimmi08 It shouldn't redirect without a visible warnig
If it redirects without a warning, user will be confused...
At least redirect but before give a minimum warning, via a page, modal, pop up, anything...

In my site i always try to do that...

Hi, i really do not know, in the admin you can choose if it is visible to non autorised members or not and i always choose not to....

My condition: everybody can see downloads, only members can download files.
There is a category access class to have a special category for members too. So access is controlled pretty well.

What I have a problem with is that if visitors don't have access to download, but they see the download icon, click on it and they get 404 error.
And I don't know it is an intention, or something I did wrong way, or something I need to set...

2 years ago they were able to download all my files from e107sk in one go, because I haven't enough information how to block this. I am bit paranoid in this topic so I am asking...

Perfect, so 404 error is my issue only. But it still doesn't explain that redirection. You have no agreement and decline text activated...
Don't waste time on this for now. I need to fix redirection first.

This solved - by chance I have the same folder name as my alias for download plugin and I copied wrong regex for index (from legacy profile, not sef-url). Thanks for help.

Main question is still valid - what should do that code above if it is textarea and not URL field.
