The Emacs front end seems to support replacing holes in type signatures with their inferred type. DanielG/ghc-mod#545

It would be super cool is the vim frontend could do the same.

It seems as though the emacs version just parses the output of a ghc-mod check looking for particular warnings. If this isn't possible with ghcmod-vim I suppose this will need functionality added to ghc-mod itself.
