Code JC not in the list #51
Comments
Thanks, what kind of alarm is it? And do you have any idea what the JC code means? |
Hi - It's an AJAX Alarm - HUB HW Version:7.0.3.1.1.2.1.0 FW: Version 2.11.3 - And no, can not find it any where on SIA protocols or Ajax homepage |
They are comming in every 10 seconds
|
Yeah ajax has a history of adding their own codes with firmware updates, and since there was just an update thats prob the case here... |
Just looked through this list on my phone but didn't see it right away: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1-N-RZVS8IiwM5zuw2u4gt8Bx_5xo_JOwuagHJgSJxUw/htmlview# |
Hmm.. yeah, i don't see it either. Code not found, replying with DUH to account: AAA |
Dear Jeff, Best regards, Ajax Team Technical Support Department |
Thanks, I'll add it! |
I'm just in a constant loop mode now, the hub keeps spamming JC code. Would their be any way to work around this? I have tried adding it in the const and the reactions. But that is prob. not right. I'm not that well in to python. Any help appreciated. As my alarm is unusable from HA right now :( |
Yeah I need to add it in the package first, only then you can do something in HA. You night be able to do something in the alarm so that that is no longer the state, but I don't know how. And I'm currently sick so it'll be a few days before I can create a new release to fix this. |
Okay. Well that is alright :) Get better soon. |
I just was looking to fix this and to my surprise the JC code is in there already. So I'm not sure what is going on here, is this still occuring? |
Yes, every 10 seconds i am getting the code JC which is not handled by the integration. Where do you see it is already in there? It is atleast not in the codes.csv or any of the other docs
|
I can't see it in the python script or the reactions.json either. I have asked Ajax support, if there is a way to reset this state. |
The JC code is in the underlying package, that does all the work of talking to the alarm, after that the code in HA just reacts to some codes, but not all. Since the JC code is in there it should be able to reply to the alarm system without trouble. Have you turned on logging of the pysiaalarm as well? |
I believe the log i have attached shows, that it has been set into DEBUG 2021-09-26 09:04:02 DEBUG (MainThread) [pysiaalarm.aio.sia_server] Incoming line: 6CCE0037"SIA-DCS"4175L0#AAA[#AAA|Nri2/JC12]_07:03:39,09-26-2021 |
Right, super strange, I even added one of your lines into the tests and there it works fine. But for some reason it doesn't want to match the JC code for you, has it ever worked? I'm not wondering if maybe there is something in the paths where things are installed that causes the list of all codes not to be loaded... But not sure how to debug that. |
I can't say. I dont believe i have ever failed entering the code on my keypad. And it was rarely used. I will try reinstalling |
Let me know! |
I subscribed to the beta version. And it went banans. But now it works :)
|
Good to hear, it's now in HA itself as well that version is ahead of the beta. I'll depricate this one at some point, when you switch you will have to delete the integration and reinstall it because the config is slightly different |
