Milestone 3 of CDT 12.0 + CDT LSP 3.0 (part of Eclipse 2025-03) now available

Hi folks!

A lot of work has been done in preparation for CDT 12 and CDT LSP 3 that is due to be released as part of Eclipse IDE 2025-03 in March.
Today the 3rd Milestone (M3) of is available. You can download Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers from eclipse.org's download page for your platform.

Or download and install with Eclipse Oomph Installer.

There are still some rough edges that we are looking to polish before the release, but in the meantime please have a try and make sure that these changes are a net positive for you. The CDT 12 New and Noteworthy is still getting updated, but some key things to look out for (and make sure they work on your setup) is:

• Better CMake and Standard Make support using the Launchbar and CDT's Core Build
• Better LSP support, including some new banners in the editor to encourage you to try it, and make switching back easier*
• Better "Before you begin" documentation in the online help**

* For best results ensure a recent clangd is available on your path
