• EclipseCon / OCX is coming up in a couple of weeks - see https://www.ocxconf.org/ for more details
• @jonahgraham working on visibility of CDT LSP editor by adding quick fix to error markers, follow details in Add "Switch to using C/C++ Editor (LSP)" to quick fix of Codan/parser cdt-lsp#379
• Espressif are successfully using CDT LSP which is great news for the community
  • @alirana01 is looking at managing tool chains, more details to follow as Espressif makes plans.
  • Also looking at how users migrate from CDT editor to CDT LSP editor, especially CDT preferences for things like colours + keyboard shortcuts. See Ctrl+Tab hardcoded? cdt-lsp#369 for an example of where keyboard shortcuts don't do the correct thing.
• The proposal to delay CDT 12 (next major version) made and generally agreed upon with these details:
  • All bug fixes that have been contributed to CDT's main branch to be backported so that CDT 11.6.2 can be released
  • If there are changes that are on main that aren't bug fixes, we need to investigate what to do about them still
  • CDT LSP will have its next release in line with SimRel 2024-12
  • CDT 12.0 schedule will be delayed by 3 months, and the target platform for CDT 12 will change from 2024-09 to 2024-12.
