Unskip and fix weirdly failing e2e tests (attendance_spec)

Two tests are skipped in attendance_spec.ts as they're failing for no apparent reason, while the functionality is sound (and not touched from before the tests were failing), additionally, the tests are passing locally. This is blocking progress and is skipped, but should be investigated and brought on the right track.
