Steps to reproduce

  1. click on a message received from friend
  2. click on Reply icon
  3. type my response
  4. send message

Outcome

What did you expect?

recipient sees my response under the quoted text of their message

What happened instead?

Recipient, and myself, cannot see the response I wrote from Element in Android. We only see the quoted text from the message I'm responding to. In desktop app I can see both.

Element version: 1.11.89 Crypto version: Rust SDK 0.7.2 (2f872cf), Vodozemac 0.8.1

This is a bug on the Android side. You'd need to open an issue there, it isn't complying to the latest Matrix spec for replies.
