Steps to reproduce

  1. Visit https://app.gitter.im/#/room/#gitter_gitter:gitter.im on a mobile web device
  2. Get greeted with an ugly web experience because Mobile web support is now unusable #14962
  3. Also notice that no smart app banner is shown so you're stuck

Outcome

What did you expect?

A better mobile web experience -> #14962

A smart app banner suggestion (related to #21763, #16311)

Perhaps redirect to the /mobile_guide where we can suggest Hydrogen: #19870

What happened instead?

I'm stuck with a bad experience with no way to save myself even if I wanted to get an app.
