Summary
Although Matrix.to is external to Element, we'd like to improve the utility and usability of the service to improve onboarding for Element & the wider Matrix ecosystem as a whole.

Intended Outcome
Improve experience of sharing rooms from Element using Matrix.to. Improve Matrix.to to reduce friction for new users.

The "Chronic Issue" and step change improvements are being made here: element-hq/element-meta#534

Further improvements are needed, so I'll leave this issue open for now.
