Class based off comparison, Should be easy but im struggling

I'm using an eww bar for hyprland and I would like it to be one color, or fall under an css class if one monitor is focused, and another color if the other monitor is focused.

Already I have

(deflisten fm :initial "focusedmon>>HDMI-A-1,1"
'tail -F -n1 /tmp/focusedmonitor | grep focusedmon')

and that should output either
focusedmon>>DP-1,n
focusedmon>>HDMI-A-1,n
depending on which monitor is focused, that file is endlessly appended by a ">>" script from the second hyprland socket.
also the n is either 1,2,3 based on what workspace is active if that matters.

For my bar I have
:class { [[[something == focusedmon>>HDMI*]]] ? "miDP" : "miHDMI"}
Im unsure of what to put in the three square brackets, something to do with the deflisten variable i think, also note at the end of the right side of equation i tryed putting the * to do the auto mach thingy, i don't know if that's how it works in eww so I'm asking aswell.

miDP and miHDMI are class names for so css will color the bar a different color

Sorry I'm pretty new to window managers and I'm trying to do my on config for the first time and I don't code outside of my ricing adventures, if that's even coding.
