This may not be feasible, and I know this can get complicated, but what would it take to add some additional metadata to the dataframe of political polls? The key elements would be a flag for LV/RV/GP, and sponsor, and n.
I assume the really old stuff must mostly be Gallup, and the newer stuff is probably available via the API or aggregator where they were found?
I'd be willing to help out with this if it's in the realm of possibility.

Good idea. I was waiting for someone to bring this up before working on it. I have most of the metadata but have not yet included as it is not complete. I’ll update here when I do get around to including it, probably in the next week or so.
That's awesome! Also, seems very possible that if there are gaps data science/poli sci twitter might be able to crowdsource the labor to track things down.
