When the bot pulls new pins from Discord's default pin system, it would be great if it also ran a check to see how many pins the channel has and remove the oldest one if full. This would let servers use both the bot's pin channel and the base discord pin functionality.

This is a great idea :) I'll have to remind myself how managing channel pins works in the API. This might be tricky if it requires additional permissions as it could require guilds to reinstall pinbot to grant them
