Instead of always rendering the individual data points, we can overlay a grid on top of the points and render the density as a heatmap.

This would mean slightly different interaction, where hovering a tile shows a summary of the points inside (count, top 5 clusters, top 5 SAE features, potentially counts of categorical column)
