Notification that account already exists

When creating a new account with a previously used email address, there should be a notification to make it clear that it's a "global" ente account for all your products (auth and photos).

I tested your authenticator first and didn't know that it's the same account for both products. The registration process inside the photo app (Android) led me through the registration process without any notification that the account already existed. I received the six-digit confirmation code via email and entered it. In the step after this, I had to enter my password, which failed, saying it was wrong (I entered the newly created one). Without any notification, it just seems as if the accounts are separate and I just couldn't log into the newly created one.

When you don't want to give an attacker any information that an account exists you should consider sending an email instead.
