What?

The EDFT Validation logic assumes the data is present. When empty it fails. This is a bug and an easy one to fix

TypeError: array_filter(): Argument #1 ($array) must be of type array, null given in array_filter() (line 357 of /var/www/html/web/modules/contrib/webform_strawberryfield/src/Plugin/WebformElement/WebformMetadataDate.php)
