Research Workgroup Objective Management

Description

The Outreach Team - Research Workgroup is responsible for researching important topics that advance the Baseline Protocol. To accomplish this goal, research topics and related deliverables must be identified to provide workgroup participants a jumping off point from where research can begin. Research will be continuously conducted by current and future individuals in the Research Workgroup to pursue and collaborate on with other workgroup members. The setup of this WG will enable research around the Baseline Protocol to take place for years to come.

Definition of 'Done'

• Begin effort to identify and outline research topics/prompts
• Identify and outline research deliverables
• Implement effort for collecting research pieces related to Baseline Protocol

Steps

• Research Topics Doc is filled out by team and reviewed iteratively
• Resources List Doc is added to iteratively by team
• Get current WG members to identify scope for their desired research work, and commit to work (by submitting a grant and/or adding an outreach item in the repo)

Updates

Issue comments will be used for logging updates and labels will be used for current status and work group responsible for current stage.

Grants

Outreach work items that are related to an approved grant project require updates by the 1st of each month by adding a comment on this issue with a detailed update on progress, roadblocks, and any comments.

• Group fleshed out additional research topics (telecoms, healthcare, EDI, automation) that member are working on
• Met with Kansas State professor

• Next phase was discussed on how detailed to be when addressing true reality of use case vs more generalized

• Group completed grooming international supply chain use case
• Team started planning SSI layer for use case
• Discussed purpose of workgroup, plan is to have the use case ready to be used with the SRI
• Create more collateral, diagrams, req docs for future product/outreach needs

• Team transforming User Journey Doc to Advancement Predicate Doc, the goal will be to turn the document into user stories moving forward that development work can be done on
• Outreach team will be updated to create content/host team on BL show
• Research group will explore getting a group together to work on a research paper for a conference, will pick up in 2023

• Ryan working on piece about Shuttle and use case with vendor bank acct. verification
