v2: ext_emconf.php not found in pwd #23

The ext_emconf.php in the current directory is not found:

$ cd /code/wgl/typo3conf/ext/wgl_makers
$ t3xutils emconf:update
                                               
  [InvalidArgumentException]                   
  Neither "" nor "/ext_emconf.php" is a file.

Happens with version 2 from @czenker
