Licensing

We ask teams to submit a license together with their forecasts.

If you use a standard license, specify the short form of the license name in the license field of the meta data.

These are some standard licenses that are being used, with their metadata reference:

• MIT License: mit

• Apache 2.0: apache-2.0

• Creative Commons 4.0 International License: cc-by-4.0

• Other accepted licenses and their metadata are here

We encourage teams to submit as a "cc-by-4.0" to allow the broadest possible uses including private vaccine production (which would be excluded by the "cc-by-nc-4.0" license).

If you use a separate license:

• Specify "other" in the license field of the metadata file.
• Include a LICENSE.txt file in your data-processed/team-model folder
