Summary

Settings menu notifications appear multiple times when repeatedly clicking the same setting option, instead of showing only once per change.

Environment

Application: Gauzy Desktop Timer Apps
Version: v0.544.6
OS: Mac OS

Steps to Reproduce

  • Launch Gauzy Desktop Timer Apps
  • Navigate to the Settings menu
  • Select any setting option (e.g., capture monitor settings, widget, etc)
  • Observe the alert/notification appears
  • Without changing the selected value, click the same setting option multiple times
  • Observe that each click triggers a new alert/notification

Current Behavior

Multiple identical alerts/notifications stack up and display simultaneously when the same setting is clicked multiple times, even though the setting value hasn't changed.

Expected Behavior

  • An alert/notification should appear only once when a setting is changed
  • Subsequent clicks on the same setting (without changing its value) should not trigger additional notifications
  • A new notification should only appear when the setting value actually changes

Additional Notes

  • This behavior affects all settings options in the menu
  • The notifications appear to stack indefinitely with each click
  • Each notification requires separate user interaction to dismiss
