how to use plugin in ionic 3?

Hi guys, I'm having awful trouble getting this plugin to work in ionic 3. I'm trying to build a beacon app. I don't know how to link everything together. I was following this tutorial on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v0Bs7VyotU&t=545s. I see he declares things under the declarations.d.ts file but that file doesn't exist anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I second this. The cordova-eddystone plugin seems to be the only route for using a beacon for an ionic app and no one seems to be able to get it working in ionic v3?
