I just updated my UDM to UniFi OS UDM 2.5.17 and thought I'd give this a go. So far I've been using a switch upstream between UDM & STB, and the OTB to do the splitting, but I'd like to remove that if possible. I followed the guide, but noticed I get miss on all apt sources, so I updated the sources.list to point to archive.debian.org like this:
It installs just fine, but the TeVe (Telenors STB) comes up with error E2000 when trying to watch live TV. It works just fine for streaming. I've tried both igmpproxy and improxy with IGMPv3. I believe the TeVe serivce uses IGMPv3. The TeVe box are connected to port 4 on the UDM - I can't fathom what I'm missing here Here's my config file (without empty lines):

Nevermind - I got yet another update and it's working with the built in solution. I only have one STB and it seems like those having issues use more than one. It's not as snappy on changing channels but we only watch tv an hrs or so per month. I left my UDM in its sorry state on an ancient fw a few years ago, and it's been working even if I had no UI / contact with the console. Thanks for taking the time to develop this solution anyways - very impressed by both the simplicity of the code and the user experience. |
