CABI and user feedback on the prototype

The following notes are a summary of what we (CABI) would like to change, taking into account user testing in Kenya.

General requests

• include Plantwise logo in header (small version of this https://www.plantwise.org/gfx/Plantwise/cabi-plantwise-logo.svg)
• we're not sure what platform you're going to be using for development. Some users are on Android 4.4.2 and most are on 5.1.1 so ideally the app/website would be compatible with these Android OS versions.

Start screen

• after Country, the next heading should be 'Counties / Districts' (other countries use districts instead of counties)

Initial search results

• include the word "risk" e.g. high risk
• use pest common names
• text should say: Can't identify the pest? Choose a crop
• % planted question appears when user clicks on crop or pest - only happens once per day
• % planted question needs 'None' as an answer option
• add question - what stage is <crop> at for most farmers? - answer options: not planted, seedling, vegetative growth, flowering, fruiting, mature, harvested

Final pest results

• show how to identify, risk level, images
  • risk level should be high, medium or low (not numbers)
• instead of factsheet info here, ask 'Have you seen this pest in the past week?'
• when user answers, they go to another page with all of the factsheet info but the page jumps to an anchor for the relevant factsheet section depending on their answer (Yes or No or I haven't looked)
• user answer should be logged

Sorted pest list

• don't include this page (remove 'show all high risk pests' button from Initial search results page)

Submit report

• because these questions are now covered in other places, we don't need this page

Nice to haves

• more images of each pest on the final pest results page
• record GPS location (on start screen)
• 'give feedback' form linked from Initial search results page
  • additional information about pests they've seen
  • what pests do you want alerts for?
  • how could we improve this app?
• notifications on/off for each pest

Additional request: can we have Google Analytics to get more data on app usage or is this too tricky for MVP?
