It's easy to happen when pairing but make sure they are as equal as possible. Sometimes recruiters or potential employees may check this (albeit very rarely) and they could use it as a way to judge your amount of input.

One things I found really useful towards the end of the cohort was having strict times when pairing/working on a machine.
