This component is great! Thank you for sharing it!

Many panning/scrolling user experiences allow for the control to continue moving after the user lifts their finger, slowing down over time. Would this be a quick thing to add?

This is a great suggestion!

Maybe replacing withTiming with withSpring could help achieve this effect. I will have to take a more detailed look at this.
