Add the package to your npm dependencies

yarn add react-native-keyevent
yarn add --dev @bam.tech/react-native-keyevent-expo-config-plugin

In your app.json or equivalent, add the following;

      plugins: ['@bam.tech/react-native-keyevent-expo-config-plugin'],
    },
  }
