Searches of custom fields of the type "checkbox list" do not work

Ransack searches for custom fields of the type "checkbox list" don't work. The options are properly populated, but the search doesn't find matching items.

I can confirm this behaviour. Additionally, the information seems to be missing from the left sidebar when viewing a contact - unsure if related.

The searches does work for me, but when making a the search into a list, accessing the search result via the list does not work. It produces the following error message.

ActiveRecord::SerializationTypeMismatch in ContactsController#index
can't dump cf_test: was supposed to be a Array, but was a String. -- "%red%"

Lists based on searches on custom fiels that are not checkbox lists seem to work fine.
