After the HLE (high-level emulation) driver reaches a satisfying quality, it would be really cool to port the VM to run on a Z80 (or some other CPU - maybe we would need something more powerful such as a Motorola 68k ?) and write a corresponding driver for that alternative board design.
This leads us to the obvious outcome of actually building an arcade board someday...
