"Add Reminder" shortcut not working after restart

Hi Felix,
What a nice little app. Thank you and well done.
I use a Lenovo Tab P11 Plus tablet running Android 12 and my issue is that the additional and very useful 'Add Reminder' button on my homepage becomes unavailable after turning off and starting the tablet.
Works fine when first installed but as I say, on a reboot it's gone.
Reinstalling the app is the only way to recover it.

This sounds like a very strange issue.

To understand correctly, a few questions:

• Does it happen again after reinstalling the app and then rebooting?

• In what sense is the icon unavailable, is it completely gone or can it be found under the list of all apps?

• Is it only about the "Add reminder" icon, or is the "SimpleReminder" icon affected too?

• What happens if you long-click on the main "SimpleReminder" icon, does it open a menu with "AddReminder"? If so, you can actually pull this out to your home screen and it has the same functionality. Is the icon created this way affected too?

As I have not heard of this issue before and have tried the app on many devices, my guess is that it has something to do with your device/Android variant. For your information, the icons are called "launcher icons".

Do you have other apps which provide multiple launcher icons? Does the problem exist there too?

I can not reproduce this issue on my Android 14 device running 0.9.14. Can you check again if the issue persists on the latest version?
