I want to use a laser to measure closer distances.
can opencv be used to determine when the laser dot is at focus (ie smallest dot)
I plan to use a stepper to adjust the laser and use a focusing lens of say 25mm so when the laser dot is focused at it smallest i know the laser lenses is 25mm from the object then add the distance the stepper traveled to that gives me a measured point for a point cloud dot
