Compare one year of GISS-GC nudged to MERRA2 reanalysis fields against the traditional GEOS-Chem simulation driven directly by the MERRA2 reanalysis fields to evaluate the implementation.

GISS-GC nudged to MERRA2 means the winds will be consistent with ERA2, making it a fairer comparison.

There will still be differences, e.g., convection schemes differ, but things should be fairly consistent if implemented correctly.
