Since PHP (except on the CLI) is not run as a process, document the equivalent solution (e.g. composer: autoload.files loadins a file with:

use Dotenv\Dotenv;

$dotenv = Dotenv::createUnsafeImmutable(__DIR__);
$dotenv->safeLoad();
