Not getting expected results

Hi, First of all thanks for this extension :)

Now the thing is I installed sphinx server & this extension in my magento 1.8.1.0 (it is having sample data.) but when I searched 'came' - I got no result then when I searched 'cam' then I got 14 results. Then when I searched 'camera' then I got 11 results.

Now the major thing is...I mean what I noticed is...if I disable this module then also the search works like above....there is no difference at all :(

Can you please suggest what to change or what to do?
