What overlay are you talking about? Also, what game? |
@fholger, I describe the rings as having an overylay showing them. They appear as gray rings for the differing radius's. These appear in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. I also note they are most prominent when the game is set to use the Normal upscaler ingame option versus AMD FidelityFX CAS or AMD Fidelity FX FSR 1.0. I force reprojection mode on (45 frames to emulate 90) while using the Samsung Odyssey Plus WMR HMD. The flicker impacts the eye causing eyestrain. If the frametime stays under 10ms I don't notice the flicker till in moves above and below that threshold in a scene. |
If the rings are clearly visible, the game is not compatible. You should probably try to disable any ingame upscaler, as that could cause these issues. |

Reporting that there is a flicker of the overlay when the frametime fluctuates into and below the 10ms threshold.
