6.Mīr Zu al-Fiqār ‘Alī al-Ḥusaynī (NB spelling Ẕū here needs correction).
person_f3013 Replace with:
person_208194416
as per VIAF:http://viaf.org/viaf/208194416
However the Columbia U ms attributes authorship of a different work to Imām al-Dīn Rīyāz̤ī b. Luṭf Allāh Muhandis, while this work ID is by his father, Luṭf Allāh "Muhandis" bin Nādir al-ʿAṣr Ustād Aḥmad-i Miʿmār-i Lāhūrī (d. 1059/1649).
Remove Imām al-Dīn as author and replace with Luṭf Allāh in Cambridge Or. 1154/2.
Also, Delhi Persian 1441A and B link to the original Arabic antecedent Ashkal-i ta'sīs not Imām al-Dīn's Persian translation, K. al-Handasah. https://www.fihrist.org.uk/catalog/work_23021
'East India Company' with person ID: https://www.fihrist.org.uk/catalog/person_239176400
Should this ideally be entered as instead of ? At least until now I've entered institutions and companies alike as the former; however, it doesn't currently index.
Also the same with booksellers, auctioneers, bookbinding firms, and even paper mills. Some organizations have People entries that do index. Shall we also index ?
DUPLICATE WORKS:
1. Lughat-i Ni‘mat Allāh (NB: Correct author's name transliteration)
3.History of ‘Alī ‘Ādil Shāh II, Sultan of Bijapur, 1638–1672 (see no. 5 above).
BL IO Islamic 4533 lacks a title and work key, but it should be linked with this work in the Rylands ms: https://www.fihrist.org.uk/catalog/work_6890
Ethé IOL Vol 1 nos 450-452, also notes other copies. (NB: the subject and patron of this work appears under this person ID, as "Alī Ādila Śāha" apparently taken from a vernacular Indian language book. Can we fix that?).
4.Dābistān
In relation to no. 7 above, somehow, all three of these works in the Rylands have different work IDs even though they appear to basically be the same one; however, attributions for authorship shift, with a lot of scholarly ink subsequently spilled over the issue. Many miscredit Muḥsin Fānī e.g. Rylands Persian MS 190, on which basis many others said the same. However, most now conclude that the author was a Parsi named either Mullā Mubād or Mullā Shāh, a.k.a. Mīr Ẕū al-Fiqār Ardistānī, etc. See Storey Online Vol. 4 no. 404, Marshall no. 447, and Mojataba'i's entry in Ir online.
I would suggest merging with work_20180, by Mīr Ẕū al-Fiqār, but adding Mubād Shāh as his penname or alt name? Or maybe it's easier to use the Fani one as most link to that and change it? Only Fani should be noted as spurious (add role="dub").
NB: Many other duplicate epistolography compilations under variant titles "Insha" "Ruq‘at" and "Munsha‘at" titles appear in the system, so, prudent to double-check for them before creating new Work IDs.
1 Fix Charles Fox, add dates 1749–1809, and remove "Bristol" as he hailed from Falmouth, then lived in Bristol, but ultimately moved to Bath where he died.
This person ID for "Majnūn Laylá" links to an isolated CUL record, while this entry is only for just Majnun. However, another entry links to both Qays and "Majnūn Laylá" on VIAF. Should we merge these to the last? Seems a bit odd, but I find no entry for Layla/Layli alone.

Until now, I've sent notes like these notes to Yasmin, but I'll start to add them here instead as others take on authority work.

4. Dābistān
