This is one of a series of issues I'll be posting about concerning things I notice as I put together my data entry system.

There are issues with the URLs for several of the institutions provided in most of the item files. Some URLs are flat out broken, some redirect to something relevant, some redirect to a less relevant general institutional page, and some institutions have no URLs listed in any files. Additionally, some records seem to use the wrong URL for that institution, though I can't be certain about this.

Here is a table of the URLs used by institution and the issues I came across:

I can go ahead and batch fix these, but if you work on or have knowledge enough of one/more of the collections here to respond to the questions these issues raise (i.e. Is there a URL we should be using? Is the URL in place appropriate?) could you please respond here? Then, if @yf227 and @awatson67 give me the go-ahead I can batch fix the URLs at some point.

(Forgive me for tagging you too, @JakeBenson, but some of these have to do with Manchester, so I thought you might know more about the right URLs for those.)

Thanks for raising this, @kontovasBodleian. I just corrected the Rylands Special Collection link, but I see we direct readers to another dead one as well, so I must consult before I revise that and the others.

Poorman's Hippocratic Aphorisms Project ended in 2017. He advises linking to either his research site or https://research.manchester.ac.uk/en/persons/peter.pormann/publications/
or the published results at https://doi.org/10.1163/18778372-04501006.
Perhaps the latter is more straightforward?

Thanks for checking on that! I agree the latter is probably better for the Hippocratic Aphorisms. I can batch change that this week or next if we're all okay with that? (Not sure who to ask permission from here since the project is over! Sorry to bother, @yf227 !)
