This issue has additional problems. With the simple test case below (a / missing on the Z plane SLCF input, CEdit doesn't throw and error, doesn't die, but totally ignores the input without any indication of an error.
CEdit dies in the namelist input routine reading the following file. &MFIR input has "/"missing at the end of the line. CEdit should capture this and report an error message rather than die.
