- Problem: The problem of "Difficulties finding people to practice a sport" refers to the challenge of being unable to find individuals or groups with whom to engage in physical activity or play a particular sport. This issue may arise due to factors such as lack of awareness of available options, limited social network, or scheduling conflicts. It can be a significant barrier to engaging in regular exercise or pursuing athletic interests, potentially leading to decreased motivation and lower overall health and well-being.
- Solution: A mobile app can be a solution to address this problem by providing a platform for Uniandes students to connect with like-minded individuals, checking sports availability in a facility, offer specific tools at the sports center, and notifying them about relevant preferences. This app can help users overcome logistical and social barriers, foster a sense of community, and encourage ongoing engagement in physical activity, promoting improved physical and mental health.
