Is there an existing feature request for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

Describe the Feature

Currently the downstream zendesk__sla_policies and zendesk__ticket_metrics models do not support tracking of agent and requester response times in chat channels. The messaging channel has previously not been able to be supported due to a limitation within the Fivetran Zendesk connector. However, once the connector is updated to support the breakdown of individual chats within a messaging ticket we should be sure to support these tickets appropriately.

Describe alternatives you've considered

As of right now there are no alternatives. An update to the connector is required to support tickets from the messaging channel.
