Audio test works, but Skype test call NOT

When running the flatpak I have connection to the skype network, the app-internal audio and video tests work just fine, but the skype test call facility indicates that I cannot have a phone conversation - the connecting jingle is played and followed by dead silence with the 'End test call button' indicating that the app assumes me in the call.

I'm running

Can't reproduce it anymore, works now in my case.

Also having the same problem. Everything is ok but mic, that is muted all the time when I make a call.
