Not being able to delete repositories

I cannot seem to remove a repo and move it to trash:

However, if I delete the repo manually first, then remove it from Github Desktop, it works fine, I have tried giving the app full file system access, which does not seem to make any difference. I also made sure that nothing else is opening the repository I was trying to delete.

this is an issue with flatpaks xdg-portal. i'll be looking into work arounds

I cant even get there, settings doesn't show up for me

It's not in settings it's a right click context menu. Currently I've done the best I can. There is an issue on the portal side which means the trash portal does not work as intended
