It should be mentioned that this project is based on a PCB with silkscreen markings "TT-SD2.2", which seems to be a TaoTao hoverboard controller.
I have two of these, one 6.5" Cool&Fun and an 8" "M110".
The former has water damage on the primary control board and fries the high-side switch of phase A. It seems I'll have to dig through the conformal coating to measure whether the drivers or the sensing or even the MCU is defective...

Hi. Were you able to dig through the coating? Were you able to flash the firmware?

I have not yet attempted reflashing nor repair.
