Summary

A warning message is displayed when running org:create:shape.
The command completes successfully (or appears to) so I assume the warning can be ignored.
Still, would like to understand what the warning means.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Run sfdx org:create:shape --target-org <alias>
  2. Warning message is displayed (see below)

Expected result

Command completes successfully with no warning message

Actual result

Command completes successfully (seemingly) but the following warning message is displayed:

Warning: @salesforce/plugin-signups is a linked ESM module and cannot be auto-transpiled. Existing compiled source will be used instead.

the warning comes from oclif (CLI framework we use), the warning is printed because you have linked some plugins (community 3.0.7, packaging 2.0.1 and signups 2.0.10) and after sf was moved to ESM it no longes support auto-transpiling them, oclif docs:
https://oclif.io/docs/esm#esm-root-plugin

So yeah, you can ignore that warning if you linked those plugins on purpose.
