Hi Bill and happy GNU year :-)

This commit changes the font from the deprecated ttf-bitstream vera to DejaVuSans.

Another option could be, maybe even better, to use the fonts directly from system, like with fonts-dejavu-core in debian.

IIRC, it prefers the system font at runtime, if present - the vendored font is a fall-back - thats why the path to the font files under the data/ dir (like fonts/truetype/ttf-bitstream-vera) mirrors the FHS path under /usr/share/
