The ADAU1701 has an internal 2 kOhm voltage-to-current resistor which is in series with external resistors. On the freeDSP AiO you can choose between four different external resistors depending on your needs.

We measured the internal resistor with the following setup:

By measuring the voltage across the jumper resistor, knowing its value and a known input voltage, the internal resistor equates to:

Our measurements showed, that the internal resistor of our ADAU1701 is 2044 Ohms.
