From d5817acff92b54f84996063885ece19db04c76f3 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Giovanni Santini Date: Wed, 28 Aug 2024 15:44:22 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Add explanation for child node (#153) I just started using FreePlane and it was extremely hard to find how to create a child node. I found it by mistake and was not clear at all. Added a line so that users are aware of how to create a child node via keyboard. --- src/docs/user-documentation/first-steps.md | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/src/docs/user-documentation/first-steps.md b/src/docs/user-documentation/first-steps.md index 8593a42..b1a2d00 100644 --- a/src/docs/user-documentation/first-steps.md +++ b/src/docs/user-documentation/first-steps.md @@ -4,6 +4,7 @@ * To create a new node, press `enter`. * To add text to the new node, start typing and press `enter` when you are done. +* To create a new child note, press `tab`. * To navigate between nodes, use the `arrow keys`. * To fold/unfold a selected node, press `space`. * To move nodes, drag and drop them with the mouse.
