what would be the difference between the “React-only PHP theme” & “Static Rendered HTML” vs using Gatsby or Next.js?
I think the most important difference between Gatsby and Next is not the rendering (static vs dynamic…) but the package/extensibility system. This is hard to see right now because there are almost no packages for Frontity, but Frontity is prepared to become more like what WordPress is today, than to another npm/React framework.Right now that is not explained in our docs, but it’s not a priority so there’s no hurry. We can have a discussion later on. I’d love to explain you all the patterns backed in the framework and how they will be used to extend Frontity
